While Madame Carven turned 100 this year, designer Guillame Henry presented a dreamy collection for Carven Spring 2012, eternal optimist's favorite Paris show until now.
Designer Katerina Alexandraki presents her Fall 2011-12 collection titled "Jux-ta-pose". Inspired by the 60s music, the futuristic aesthetic of the Blade Runner and applying her ideas into the practical and subtractive era of today, Katerina created corsets with colourful stitching and feminine dresses in cigarette line mixed with former military jackets which turned into stylish mid-tops, moulage skirts and many more which will be launched at her Sooo...Boutique in Athens on the 12th of October.

One of the most interesting Polish fashion names is Halina Mrozek whose works juctapose sculpture and fashion. For those who are visiting Krakow until the end of October, the exhibition "Between Sculpture and Fashion" at the Museum of Contemporary Art of the Polish capital is a good chance to see Halina's sculptured artworks that are exhibited there.
Daniel Silver's first solo show in Athens is hosted at AMP Gallery. The London-based artist's show, titled Letting Go, is a new series referencing some of the Hellenistic and Greco-Roman artifacts found in Greece.
Where his production is concerned "Letting Go" physically and mentally pushes the artists into a new terrain. A synthesis of forms with remote traces of classical antiquity, primitive and high modernist influences contain the pantheistic origins of sculpture within a very contemporary discourse.
