The film Loner by Zaiba Jabbar explores the delicate and alluring psychosis of an abandoned girl and the decadence of her loneliness. Usually I am not fond of this aesthetic at all, but this video is beautifully filmed and has something really interesting and nice.

OUREA - A FILM BY ZAKARY CHENOWETH

 

Garments and accessories from Australian stores and young designer contributions are showcased in this fashion video which is based on the ten primeval gods of the mountain, the 'Oὔρεα', as in Greek mythology.

SHOOTING FOR F/A1 EXHIBITION - PORTO

Today artist / filmmaker Stavro Christo Vlachakis and the eternal optimist met in Tatoi, Athens for the shooting of a new fashion film to be showcased among other international film projects at F/A1, a video art exhibition curated by Konstantinos Menelaou, opening in Porto on the 20th November. It was also my first collaboration with make up artist George Fytas who did a great job. More coverage soon.

SIGUR ROS' COMEBACK

"Inni" is a documentary featuring the live concert by Icelandic band Sigur Ros which was screened yesterday at the Film Museum in Turin, Italy. This film was previously presented during the latest edition of Venice International Film Festival. 

 

F/A1 EXHIBITION AT THE WRONG WEATHER GALLERY

A video art exhibition curated by Konstantinos Menelaou is hosted at the Wrong Weather Gallery in Porto and is titled F/A1. The exhibition marks a new approach toward the genre of fashion film, illuminating fashion in the moving image through provocative concepts and fresh style of presentation. Based on the creative credentials of the participating artists, F/A1 presents a selection of new work that introduces a new way of making, expressing and perceiving moving images that deal with the subject of fashion.

MATTEO MOLINARI - GAME / FASHION FILM

Last month awarded designer Matteo Molinari participated at the On Stage collective show in Milan with other nine up and comer designers. Vogue Italia sponsored the project and wrote the best reviews about his collection and the Game fashion video, Molinari's collaboration with another emerging fashion talent: Formulabruta collective, headed by Micol Angeleri. She sent me the video and some stills from the shooting that was held at the 18th century Villa Bombrini in Genoa, Italy. Such a nice work.
